Cinema Obscura Launch

Cinema Obscura is an exciting new project I've been working on with some friends. It is a FREE film club based in the University of Worcester. Showcasing weekly double bills featuring a mix of Independent film, World cinema, as well as classic and obscure Genre and Exploitation pieces.

We launch at 6:30 on 4th October. We will be showing Pleasantville followed by the original Night of the Living Dead. For more details please click the link below and make sure you like our page.

Feel free to come watch one film, both, or any week that piques your interest.

Winning Monologue

I am very lucky to have been one of four winners of the Write Now monologue competition. My monologue "Too Poor for Pride" was performed and recorded. It was directed by John Bradburn. The piece was inspired by slum life in Victorian England and is about the difficult decision that a young, single mother has to make.

Too Poor for Pride Video

The monologue was previously recorded for radio and as you can see the two versions are very different.

Loving Vincent

Loving Vincent trailer.

Loving Vincent is a world first. It is an animated feature film comprised solely of oil paintings. It took nearly 100 artists 6 years to create this ode to Van Gogh. Each second of which required 12 paintings. For more about the painstaking process behind the film have a look at this BBC clip.
